For busy workers, French à la Carte offers flexible private French lessons that can take place after office hours or at weekends.

You can learn :

• from your office (in Paris)

• online with Skype or Zoom

• from 8.15 am to 9.30 pm

For additional flexibility, we can also offer to combine private tuition on a one-to-one basis with lessons on Skype if you are out of town for a business trip and you wish to continue your lessons.

• Initial assessment before starting: a free initial call on Skype to understand your goals, your needs and to assess your curent level ( compehension & speaking) A writen test can also be offered.  

• Business French for beginners (A1) helps students learn the basics of communication and master key elements of the French language such as speaking in practical and social situations in Paris, communicating in areas of immediate needs. General French courses have an emphasis on conversation.

• Business French for intermediate level (A2–B1) provides an opportunity to become familiar with idiomatic expressions and standard business vocabulary and specific terminology depending on your sector of activity. Week by week, you will gain the confidence and the language skills you need to have to communicate in daily and professional situations.

• Business French for advanced level (B2+) assists students to master normal social and vocational uses of the language. The tuition program will focus on presentations, participating actively in meetings, and negotiating with French speaking clients.

French for diplomats

In this course, students learn the French language specializing particularly in the field of diplomacy.

The language teaching focuses on the area of International Relations.

The French lessons for diplomats are designed specifically for representatives of international organizations and embassies, whose responsibilities involve effective engagement in diplomacy and International Relations.

Your objectives:

• Acquire the specific vocabulary necessary for the political and International Relations field.

• Understand formal speech  

• Speak in highly formal speech

• Develop proficiency in major protocol and diplomatic rules and customs

• Reading and writing diplomatic documents
